Our advanced moisture-absorbing pouches are designed to be recharged up to 5 times. The non-toxic material contained within the pouches have a surface area of 25,000 sqm. Thats the equivalent of 72 tennis courts of surface area per gram thanks to millions of tiny microscopic pores using a process called adsorption.
The slim, long insert with 200mm tether for easy removal, fits perfectly within the decanter neck, and magically removes ambient moisture from the glass walls using physics rather than hard work to strip water from the surrounding glass and air.

Use and Recharging of your pouches:
DECANTDRY pouches use approximately 36g of non-toxic silica gel contained within 100% cotton pouches to absorb residual moisture in wine decanters. Water residue in decanters can be annoying to remove and can leave decanters with residual smell that taints wine.
1. Wash your decanter with with very warm water and drain thoroughly.
2. Simply place a DECANTDRY pouch in the decanter and leave it there until dry (Usually between 12 and 24 hrs)
DON’T put decantdry pouches in contact with liquid water as they may make a popping sound as the internal beads rapidly absorb water, split and become less effective.
You can recharge your DECANTDRY pouch by microwaving it for 1 minute then letting it cool for 3 minutes then reheating for 1 minute again. Make sure it’s cool before using in a decanter, noting that when it is being recharged it expells moisture until completely cool. Pouches lose effectiveness at the rate of 10-20% per recharge.
Store your DECANTDRY pouches in the provided resealable plastic bag to stop them absorbing ambient moisture.
